Welcome to Evolution Catalog, Our personal thanks to all our customers.

Introducing ourselves: We are an independent distributor of music rather than distributing just a record label! We would take pleasure to say thank you for your love and support, we appreciate every one of our customers for making our efforts a success…. and to many of you who have called and wished for our success. We’re honored by all of you who have supported us with their orders and recommendations, and who have reffered us to their friends.

What more can I say? You bless us with your trust, your inquisitive and open minds, and your hearfelt support! We will always continue to provide our best of services to you all so that you can get more then just music. :)

As a result of major label consolidation, we at Evolution Catalog are no longer owned by Higher Octave Music, or its parent EMI: although, due to our emotional investment in building the record label, we do continue to offer Higher Octave’s music to the world.

Evolution Catalog is now solely a direct-to-customer business, independently owned and operated by some of the same people who flamed the entrepreneurlal spark that fueled Higher Octave Music nearly twenty years ago. And we keep evolving. We’ve created a niche over the years, and it is our intention to continue to fill it. Now that we are once again truly independent, we will continue to make you aware of new and cutting edge music that flies below the radar of the masses.

This Holiday Season, we’ll offer more when we’ll be issuing our first independent full catalog. In addition to new music titles, our next catalog will feature products for those who strive to live healthfully and organically. Evolution Catalog will have a new look and style – you’re seeing the beginnings of that now. We’ll be getting personal in our tone and our descriptions. And the changes are specifically for those who continue to live on the leading edge of the mainstream with us.

Because our customers are so important, we love to hear comments and suggestions so please feel to email “Sharon Wilson” at evolution @ 4thwayfulfillment.com . And visit us at our new and improved website, EvolutionCatalog.com to purchase or sign up for our E-mail newsletter.

So much hard work goes into creating Evolution Catalog that will oftenly deliver music related news & last events information directly in your mailbox! Do you buy from us? Do you use it to go to a store and ask for titles you find? Do you go online and buy? Do you use it to line trashcan? (Just testing to see if you are listening!)

We’re sourcing some of the most appealing music availaible, and we hope you will enjoy the fruits of our labour, and that we can continue this journey together for years to come. We provide some of the best available Music collections for flamenco music, new age music, relaxation music, smooth jazz music, smooth jazz artistsworld music, yoga music and much more to listen and enjoy.

New Age Music: Is a style of music originally associated with some New Age beliefs. Its basis can be found in the work of various 1960s European and American electronic and acoustic musicians. New age music is generally characterized as being primarily instrumental and repetitively melodic in nature.

To recognize it: Recordings of nature sounds are sometimes used as an introduction to a track or throughout the piece.

New Age music is typically relaxing and inspiring, and is often used by listeners for such activities as yoga, massage, meditation, reading, or to create a peaceful atmosphere in their home, outside or in other environments where a person wants to relax for awhile.

World Music: The term is currently used to classify the many genres of non-Western music which were previously described as “folk music” or “ethnic music”. However, “world music” does not have to mean traditional folk music, it may refer to the indigenous classical forms of various regions of the world, and to modern, cutting edge pop music styles as well.

To recognize it: You can find world music in earlier day’s non-European classical music (e.g. Japanese koto music, Hindustani raga music, Tibetan chants), eastern European folk music (e.g. the village music of Bulgaria) and the many forms of folk and tribal music of the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Oceania and Central and South America

So sit back and relax, knowing it’s ok to take care of yourself… come and select some best quality original tracks from our website & put on some good sounds you like, and let’s have a chat about some good mood altering, mind expanding, fell good music.
